Well … I knew after being gone for more than a week, I needed to have a REALLY good post to make up for it, right?
I think I’ve got just the post … it’s merry & bright … it’s a tutorial … and it has a GIVEAWAY!!
Part of the reason the blog was so quiet last week is because I was working on a little Christmas cheer with Kelle Boyd {of Ann Kelle}. Such a pleasure!! I mean when I received the fabrics for our collaborative project, it was quite literally, a rainbow in a box {so fun}!
Kelle created a digital sketch of a tree skirt and I went to work sewing it and writing a tutorial/pattern that Kelle is sharing on her blog … for FREE!
To get the full downloadable tutorial/pattern, visit the Ann Kelle blog.
Aside from being crazy cute {you might have to invest in a white tree to now too!}, this tree skirt is also reversible. I created the back/underside using excess fabric from the front side and followed my existing tree skirt tutorial. Both tutorials/patterns are included in the one printable with a little more detail than my original post.
So hop on over to the Ann Kelle blog … and don’t be surprised if you stay for a while. It’s so merry & bright over there!!

BUT WAIT! Before you leave me … how about I spread a little Christmas cheer? I’m not much of a singer {even though this cute quote makes me want to be}, but I do know how to share fabric … and I’m pretty sure that spreads Christmas cheer too!
Giveaway for a Rainbow Bundle of Scraps {over 1lb of Robert Kaufman‘s Kona Cottons & Ann Kelle Remix prints}. Just use the Rafflecopter widget and jump through as many hoops as you’d like to increase your chances. Winner will be announced Monday, December 16th so that fabric can ship out before Christmas.
